If you purchase, or already own a yacht which you would like to charter out
- we can act as the Central Agents for the charter and manage the whole
operation.
As Central Agents, we market the yacht, for charter, to other Charter Agents
Worldwide. It's like a wholesale marketing operation. We maintain the booking diary, and work closely with the owner and
the skipper to ensure that the maximum revenue is obtained - whilst allowing for
proper crew rest (recovery in a busy season) periods and scheduling in the
owners own use.
Details of the yacht are circulated to Charter Agents, together with Crew
Profiles and often sample menus and cruising itineraries. Regular updates on
bookings and availability are circularised, and detailed schedules prepared for
the clients as enquires are received.
Thereafter, we deal with the Yacht Charter
Agreements, receive the funds (as stakeholders), and disburse the monies to the
skipper (for the Advance Provisioning Allowance which the charterer provides)
and to the owners (the net Charter Fee), and to the Government (for any VAT).
We are on hand to ensure smooth embarkation and to attend to the last minute
hic-cups which result from late flights, bad weather, full Ports and etc.
What we charge
We charge a commission of five percent of the Charter Fee for this service.
The Charter Agent which sells
the charter receives a fixed commission for selling the charter, and in
the case that we sell a charter directly we charge only that fixed commission.
Being close to Cannes and Monaco, we are especially busy with the many
Festivals in Cannes and the Grand Prix in Monaco.
Our brokers have many years experience in dealing with the most detailed
arrangements at these often complex festivals.
We are good at promoting our
charter fleet for charter. As long ago as 1988 our brokers - together with the
skippers of the charter yachts - organised the first
Charter Yacht Show in Antibes.
We maintain excellent relations with all the major Charter Agents.
